"During her August 2023 art residency, Athanasia Karampela directed a site-specific scenography project in the outdoor scenery around Pedvale Art Park, Latvia. As a sequel to her July exhibition, 'The Ignored Poetry of Slowness' the artist created live pictures that sometimes simulate 17th-century European paintings. The photos taken visualize poetry in a slow time and silent aesthetics.
